How the Archive works
Every Daily puzzle stays in the Archive once its day has passed, so a missed day is never lost. Each page holds one month, newest puzzle first, and the month links take you to the previous and next months.
A past puzzle plays just like the Daily, with the same rules, controls, timer and success dialog. Chevrons at the ends of its toolbar step to the previous or next puzzle.
Each line shows the puzzle’s number, date and difficulty, then its status: Play until you solve it in this browser, then a check and your best time. In the current month, the top line is today’s Daily, marked Today.
For the board everyone is solving today, open the Daily puzzle; for a random one at any time, try Tango Game Unlimited.
FAQ
Can I play past tango games?
Yes, every past Daily puzzle is in the Archive and free to play at any time. Open a month, pick a line, and press Play on the puzzle’s cover.
Do past puzzles count toward my Streak?
Yes, a past puzzle counts toward your Streak on the UTC day you solve it, not the day it was the Daily. Your Streak is kept in this browser only.
How far back does the Archive go?
The Archive goes back to the first Daily, No. 1, from 1 January 2026. Follow the previous-month links to reach any month since then.
Can I replay a puzzle I already solved?
Yes, open it again and it starts fresh on its cover. Your best time stays on its line, and only a faster time replaces it.
